they sell 10lb boxes of blank newsprint at Fred Meyer in seattle (or whatever your local gigantic store is) for $6. you get like 200 sheets of giant paper, a little larger than 19x25 i think.

If you want newsprint you can usually get roll ends for free from any web press shop printing a tabloid or bigger daily paper..

roll ends still have hundreds of feet of paper on them too, I've got a basement full of 'em
