    Default quick halftone question

I did some searching, learning a bit, but not sure where to go with this. I'm only doing 20 prints or so, but this is the artwork I got. I've never had to deal with converting shit to halftones, but is this even possible to screen? Sure, anything is possible. But for 20 prints I ain't gonna pull hair out. I'm printing on 230/yellow coated with QTX. I've printed a a few halftone projects, but nothing this fine that I can remember. Lemme know what ya think.

    anything is not possible.
Hard to tell from the pic you posted.
    Does it have halftones now?
I'd probably just mess with the contrast.
    Or Stamp or Photocopy filter
If you want to halftone it, do the image>mode>bitmap deal

He just sent me a rough idea of what was going on. I haven't been sent final artwork or anything, I was gonna have him deal with most of it. Though probably just better if I get the final artwork and then make it how it will work for me...

I don't see why you would have to print this in halftones.

If you are pretty good at burning your screen correctly, the emulsion will be able to handle some of the gradations in the artwork.

Does it matter if you're doing 20 or 200 once everything is set up?

I just mentioned the 20 as; I'm not going to stress over this and it's basically a hook up kind of deal.
If ya'll think I can just burn it and print it as it is, well, then I'll go for it, heh

so, wait...what exactly is your question? you want to know whether or not to do halftones? if you want the grey areas, then yes. if you don't care, then throw a threshold adjustment on it, and tune to taste. if you leave the image how it is, you leave it up to chance to decide what burns and what doesn't - that's not a good place to be, and might make the image look like total shit...er, if you care.

if you don't feel like pulling your hair out dealing with it then halftone at 35lpi and call it a day. It'll print fine.

maybe lighten up the mids and darks to compensate for some dot gain while printing.
