Default Lost my screenprinting virginity finally!

So it is. I´m not sure about all the english terminology in the field of screenprinting but last weekend I burnt(?) my first little screen frame and printed some t-shirts. I seemed to put on to much emulsion(?) so that green stuff kind of got to thick but I placed the original in a dropfree zone hehe.

Anyways I think I´m set up for textile one color printing but what extra stuff do I need for paper printing?

I got one frame with 40 mesh (?) per centimeter. And one 60 mesh p/cm coming in.

If I wanna print paper someone told me to drill a hole in the frame and put a vacumcleaner to get the frame and paper in contact. Dunno if that makes any sense?

And I need something to match with the printing marks?

    Many ? it is.

I think you are talking about a vacuum table. You don't hook up a vacuum to your screen.

    nooooooooo!

heh. no, hole in the screen. you need clamps for paper printing, to hold your screen still and in the same place with each print. that you need to secure to the table with a drill.

like this: [ame="http://www.flickr.com/photos/strawberryluna/3636143788/in/set-718949/"]Detroit Cobras 2009, 1st color on Flickr - Photo Sharing![/ame] (there are little notes that you can mouse over there.)

Hmm. seems like I need a vacum table then?

Or can you print on paper without vacuum tables?
