    With one-stop shopping for the bands can't that be acheived by him designing and printing it himself or designing it and having someone else print it? He could/should deal with the printer directly of he isn't going to print I himself.

    The best answer to this question was the first one given (by lil tuffy): "it depends."

    what does it depend on? you.

    how motivated are you to do both yourself?
    how much time do you want to give yourself for the design process?

    some guys prefer sending out the printing because they'd rather have more time for design. especially if that's what they're getting paid for primarily. it all depends on how your personal "business" is set up.
