The process of screenprinting

Looking at posters like the Burlesque do, I wonder whats the whole process. I'm familiar with the actual screenprinting (i saw a vid on youtube

but would love to know the process before that... The mystery to me is how do they separate different color layers from the graphics... to create meshes?

Any good articles on this???

the dudes at burlesque are sort of on a different level of color separation than most others are.

i can tell you that most of the color work there is done in color, full size, in photoshop.

it's 2 inks put into the screen and blended together from left to right or vice versa via overlapping them, seriously, get the book.
