how do you go about drying the sculpey? don't you bake it? that armor looks super attached. so, it must be in pieces then, that you had to glue together?
well for munny's are built with 4 removable pieces(head, two arms, torso) so i just did each one individually with sculpy and baked at 275F for about 15 minutes. i finally finished all the final sanding tonight. i should have a primed image here tomorrow afternoon!
colors are gonna be fun! gonna be mixing quite a bit metallic acrylics to get that perfect silver/blue with a tint of purple.
I'm getting this right... Munny's can go in oven too?
yup, they sure can! just be very careful at what temperature you cook at! i try to never go above 275, and to not cook it too many times, or else it'll become malformed.
I know they have the parts, I did a munny recently and added sculpey parts. But I had no idea you could stick that vinyl in the oven. I thought for sure that it would melt!
now I know.
thanks for the comments guys!
i primed/sanded robo today. i should be mixing paints tonight to paint tomorrow.

Looks fabo
That looks great. I sell the blank Munnys through my store and I get a lot of people asking what you can do with them. This is a great process reference to show them.
