I see you never installed that squeegeelizer that I showed you how to build. Do I need to come up and install it for you? I will, just say the word.

What duro do you run? Can't tell from the picture if it's triple or not.

    Looking fantastic guys.

70-90-70 triple duro is how I roll.

Squeegeelizer? I have no memory of this. Are you thinking of someone else?

Just finished Color 5, green, but we're hurrying to get one more done today so I'll put up pics later.

    Instead, this afternoon's Codeine track:

I could have sworn it was you... maybe not!

    this is it:

It regulates pressure from left to right so the length that the lowering of the carriage isn't static. Takes a large amount of manual adjustments and makes it self adjusting.

Color 4 is reddish brown. Visible as tree bark, but will also function as toning and shadow underbase for the big transparent 7th color.

Color 5 is the first of two greens. It contains about 50% base for overprint effects, most visible in some of the Sonnenzimmer'd elements but also a few highlights in leaves & such. Mostly it overprints color3, and the transparency helps it blend.

We started with less transparency and it wasn't enough, so added clear base on the fly...thus ending up with almost twice as much green ink as we started with.

We called it quits after color 5 today because the next color almost entirely overlays the one we just printed, which mostly overlays color 3, and we figured the prints needed some rack time. And we were tired, and it was beer o'clock. Nick & Nadine are coming over tomorrow for a four color print-a-thon.
