Super impressed with what you've made of your workspace. Totally punk rock. Excellent first poster, too. Looking forward to more.
Let the hazing begin then... Is that chapstick next to your mouse or superglue? Don't get them confused.
It sucks and you should give all of your supplies to a special needs summer camp. Hang it up. FUCK YO' CAHPET!!!!!!
(Just hazing you. Nice first print for sure.)
Shouldn't we be DEHAZING him, AMIRIGHTGUYZZZZZ?
: finals week :
Quick update on my screen printing adventures. After taking a lot of advice from this thread and elsewhere on gigposters, I made a few changes and had the best and least frustrating printing experience yet. First of all, I got some help from my carpenter neighbor and built a 20" x 30" drying rack. It's totally awesome. This was based on liltuffy's diy drying rack thread.
I also built a counterweight. Definitely made things go quicker. This kind of thing seems like a no-brainer for how easy it was to set up.
The third relatively minor but helpful thing I did was tape down a strip of acetate that went under a corner of the posters, so I could just pull the tab to get a handle on the posters instead of having to slide something under them every time.
Registration was a huge problem on my last two prints so I designed with that in mind for this one. I also used a sheet of acetate and printed my first pull on it to register with, then I'd print on paper and if it looked good I'd rip off the acetate and lay down my reg guides. I totally spaced out at the beginning of my second color because I removed the paper before putting down guides. Hopefully I won't do that again.
epicsolutions. that print looks great from here!
