Some die cut stickers for Sticker Exchange

So this is my first attempt to punch out some stickers DIY-style- if it goes well I'm sending them in for Sticker Exchange

First I printed some stickers during lunch break:


then I took a can of pinaple, and a plank


made a template of sticker to be


sprayed it on the plank


cut some metal stripes fom the can, and shaped them in form


glued them in place


random missprint and glue drying....

tomorow some grinding and sharping the blades, and hopefuly some test punching (pic will follow)

oh and I found this on an vacuum unit at work

Did the die work?

Have you others info about how to make dies? I know it's a very difficult thing. You need a CNC machine to trace the perimeter of the blade, than you need a special machine to fold the metal.

no it failed miserably! >< It seems i cant get the blade sharp enough to cut trough..... damn

you can always make cookies.

Did you try using a microwave?

big cookies yes, I'll just cut some vinyl on a plotter and reprint the whole shabang...
