Hi man, great work and process, bookbinding is awesome, planning on learning myself. How many pages were these, how long did it take you to sew each book, and how long did these take you in total? =)

I think they were around 80-100 pages, can't really remember. It took less and less time the more I did it, but the first book took around 20 minute and the 4th copy i was down to 5 minutes. In total it was spread out over a few nights, but 5 or so hours I think. Not counting the time I took waiting for glue to dry.
Ah that sounds good, I'm planning on doing a small edition (6-10, I'm guessing about 100 pages, with one or two screen printed fold-outs, I'll put pics up when I get there) of a book I'm doing for my final assignment at Uni, and was wondering how much time I should plan on spending on the final books. Thanks alot, I spoke to this guy in my class and he was like "well yeah, I've put like two weeks for doing one book" and I couldn't for the life of me understand why it would take that long, I'm guessing a week of trials and errors and then a week for the final books, I'll do them in two runs so I'm sure I get atleast half done in time =p
