I'm young, dumb, and making my way to the edge of the universe to see what's on the other side and you can't stop me.

Been looking at a lot of things around GP for a while now as a silent observer. Anyways, thought I'd start to mutually share with the people that share the same hard on for that bit of ink we see on paper. Since a few years ago I've really been in admiration of the things I've found in Minnesota and then eventually found the extended network on the internet.

Following is some of the processes I've been able to make accessible. Each poster process linked in the photo:

A lot of documentation from the first five prints I've done is on my Flickr account. Flickr: SkatRadioh's Photostream Each set on the right side is one of the posters I've done. Many of the photos have written descriptions.

I've progressively become more self-dependent and have learned a lot. Fueled by acrylic ink and beer as my additive, printing very involved artwork is all I think about doing now.

This is the first poster for a show put together in a planetarium that came with star show, black lights, lunar landings, and all the psychedelia you'd ever need. Obviously 2001: A Space Odyssey themed. I took advantage of my school's studio, which I found out that I wasn't allowed to use...

So, I moved on to invest in my own tools and supplies. I put all I could into it regardless of the demand I had from school and what little income I had. Thankfully I had some time during the summer to put things together and figure out what I was going to do. Many thanks to a lot of other GP members and their posts in the forums, not to mention locals hands. Lots of things to learn from 2009: A Beer Odyssey. (Again with the 2001 theme already.)

The next two prints don't have much of a documentation:

Now comes the most recent poster I just finished. I had to relocate my work space as you'll see. So what a good time to reevaluate a few things. Still, more things could use a bit of improving. My burn times are still 25 min. I ended up washing and reclaiming screens in freezing temperatures. My table is still pretty fucking steep, but it saves space.

Happy to have found new friends who love art/gig prints, new glass, a print shop that will cut my large order of paper for $20 and some home baked cookies. Anyways:

Hope this can be of some use to you. I'd love to discuss any questions or comments!

I should also mention I'd love to receive the same support I've given to the poster community where I could. Turns out I don't have a job right now, so I put these posters up on Etsy for now and they are very affordable. If you're interested in the planetarium show print contact me with an offer at SkatRadioh(at)griftart.com I've got one extra copy I might be willing to part with.
