how'd you get the GP logo to replace the exploder logo on the home page (in the address bar)?
why doesn't it stay on other pages? just limitations?

i'm on PC, if that makes a shit of difference, but look:
The GP logo - all you have to do is create an icon (there are many free tools you can download to do this - 16x16 I think..) .. and save it as favicon.ico (it must be called that). Put this file in the root of your website .. right with the index page. Thats it.. its like magic. When someone adds your site to the favorites.. it will have the icon. (as well as appear in the address bar).
This is only for Internet Explorer (I think). Should work on a mac too.
I'm gonna look into why it might disappear for other pages of the site .. and see if I can figure out why... but I think it might only work for the page that you have added to your favorites.

Safari (mac)
Mozilla (Mac & PC)
Chimera (Mac)
Firebird (PC)

gp.com is home for me, i really don't bother with the rest of cyberspace.
what IE?
Mike - It definately is a little flakey. Try deleting the favorite.. and then adding it again.. should show up![]()
Thanks Jason.. I just learned something new. It never used to work on Netscape (although I haven't used it in years).. I guess the other browsers are starting to catch up![]()

The Mozilla community is one of the absolute best open source communities in the world...right up there with the Darwin and Open Office communities. Open Source is where its ate.
