I was trying to read the second page of the Question on Selling First Poster thread in the Posters forum, but it kept sending me to the homepage.

I think it's some ad that's bumping me off.

I can read all 3 pages ok. An ad shouldn't be causing you any problems.

Have you adjusted / customized any of your profile settings lately? (like - how many posts per page get shown etc?)

What happens when you log out and try?
