Question for designers - copyright issues

Hey guys,

I found this site today:

.. looks like they are taking images from this site and using them as wallpapers for the Zune.

It does not appear that they are charging money for them or anything, but as you know - the designer owns the copyright to the image, not GigPosters.com.

Basically, I would like to know if you think this is a problem? Should I contact them and ask them to remove them? Should the designers contact them and ask them to remove them? Should we be asking for designer credit?

One positive point, is they did link to GigPosters.com - and give credit there..

This is just one example of this issue. There isn't much I can do to stop people from initially grabbing the images .. but if there is a problem here, we do have the rights to get them removed if desired.

My thoughts:

If a zune can display any image you want on it, as a wallpaper, then anyone can grab any image they want off the internet and set that as their wallpaper.

BUT

If someone repackages them to distribute them, that's a whole 'nother ball of wax.

That person seems to have good intentions, and gives credit where credit is due (for the posters they "packaged"). They may just need to be told that artists should be asked if their artwork is going to be distributed in any way/shape/form...
