Not logged in?

Many times after I've logged in, the site doesn't register me having done so.

Like, when I go to comment on a poster, it says only registered GP members can comment and I have to sign back in. BUT when I go to the homepage, it already lists me as an online member.

Also, sometimes if I log on in the upper right section on the Forms page, it doesn't take effect and I have to re-sign on on the homepage.

Happening to anyone else?

yeah, it happens to me about 5 times a day, especially when i am looking at posters. safari or firefox, no difference.

clay will come in & say something about: a)allowing cookies (which i do), b) perhaps clearing the cache (doesn't help) c) and using a mac (suck it, they're awesome and not because of any stupid marketing techniques - i'm not a moronic sheepgirl) but none of those things are the issue.

i'm so used to it now, i just sign back in.

It is definitely a cookie issue .. but none of the solutions in Strawberryluna's post will solve it.

The answer is to delete your cookies (not the cache) in your browser.

That will fix you. (guaranteed)
