Classified Ads - Ad Expiration Info

There are a bunch of classifieds that will expire in a week or so.

*Just so you guys know ... when a classified expires .. it is completely and automatically DELETED. Everything .. gone for good.*

I just figured I'd announce it now .. so many of you don't start asking "Where did my ad go??" or "I want to renew but its too late and its gone".

The system 'should' email everyone 1 week before expiration reminding people to renew if they are interested. BUT - I have had a couple of people who for some reason do not get the auto-emails from the classifieds system (must be removed by anti-spam software at some point).

How to renew:

- make sure you have credits

- click on Edit Ads

- click on Renew and apply more credits

*You can see how many days are left on each of your ads by clicking on Edit Ads any time you like*

QUESTION: if you have 10 days left on an add, and you click the "renew" button, does it change the days left to 40, or is 30 the highest it will go?
Meaning, should I wait until I have 1 day left to renew???

Yes - it ADDS the additional time on. You can run an ad for as long as you want... and if it sells out .. you can change it to a different item.

I don't seem to get the automatic notices . . . I actually sold a poster about a week or so ago and didn't find out until I logged into PayPal a few days back.

No matter though. I just reinvested that money into 10 more credits.

Paypal is having the issues-- it ain't Clay's dealy.... I was having trouble too, but now suddenly I'm getting the email notifications from paypal that I sold something a week after the fact. weird.
