Every website I pull up works fine. But in the last 2 days when I pull up GP's it is violently slow. It wont load all the way or just sits and tries for 5 minutes untill I give up. I'll go to another site and it works perfectly. What gives? I have dial as well so it's really a pisser. My DSL goes into effect Monday! Whoop whoop! I'm finally leaving the Dark Ages!

I only have problems when I let a bunch of PMs pile up.If I dont like erase them it gets real logey.
otherwise its pretty good.

clay, zero probs all week here in dsl land.
could be problems with your isp.

I think it's Earthlink. We did have some slow ass searches on Yahoo and some other things. Fortunately we get DSL on Monday. Put it this way, when I saw Clay respond to my thread I clicked on it and it just sat and twirled for day. Nothing would happen. Nothing erks me more than thge twirling wheel. it's like nails on a blackboard!

More than likely its an outage on a major network backbone...usually when there is random slow surfing its because some networks, or pipes, are clogged - or down...but the network that you are in yourself is usually not the reason for random sites being slow.
