    Default Linocut Feedback request

I've been posting pics of my paintings in the danger non-gig thread for a couple years.

I thought I would post a pic of my first official gig-poster and try to get a little feedback.

15" x 22" three color hand carved/pressed linocut on Stonehenge for YMSB.
I press the prints like a caveman using a baren.

Please let me know what you think.

Yeah, oil based block printing inks (Renaissance ink)
burnishing the inks onto paper with the baren = heavy build up of ink on top layers. First layer get absorbed by paper.

Cool, but if the run is more than 10 i would prefer a press.

I never get good results with water based ink.

this run was 100 three color

I made a non-gig linocut earlier this year which was a run of 200 three color prints and was almost served divorce papers by my wife.

    wow.
My first few gigposters were linocuts, but nowhere near as nice.
I switched to screen-printing because of the gouges in my hands
