    Default Critique wanted

I'm going to hold my hands up – I'm not a designer by trade. In fact, I'm probably that journalist moaning in your day job that something about the page/poster/image doesn't look right without the slightest understanding of the effort that has gone into it.

Anyway, due to the recession, our usual designer has had to go get a job at a publishing house and can't do work on the side anymore: at the last minute.

So – with some reservations – I decided to take a punt at it (I know, but hell, I've got a whole load of respect for you guys now that I now know what is involved).

I'd appreciate you laying into it – what you feel is missing, have I made a n00b mistake? Anyway, just lay in and tell me how to improve it, etc.

I think there are at least six fonts you forgot to include in your design.

Sure thing – Those are the band's chosen fonts, but I'll replace them with Helvetica. That way, it'll be down to two (not including my company's logo)

If those are the band's chosen fonts, Skelatons should break up immediately, just out of self-respect.

I thought there might be. The only problem is that the text looks flat when it doesn't have a drop shadow. Is there anything else I can do, that won't make it look too over the top without the text looking flat?

I'm using InDesign to do this, encase there is a function in there that can help.
