I'm just curious. What's the most expensive poster? I've seen some for a couple hundred bucks, but I'm sure there is some posters out there that are worth much more. Who is the designer and what is the poster? How much?

There are several Grateful Dead posters that are over the $1000 mark - especially if they're from the 60's.

Additionally, anything from the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco will fetch a nice price.

Here's one for $1700.

I knew you'd ask that, and I really don't know.

I found that one at artrock.com, and they don't have the designer listed. In fact, they don't have a lot of the 60's artists listed. I'm not sure why.

By the way, if anyone is in the SF area, you should definitely pay a visit to ArtRock. You can browse through their huge collections, and they regularly hold exhibits in their gallery.

(I have no affiliation. I just think the place is cool. I was on vacation in SF a few years ago and spent a good chunk of time there one day.)

Really? Original artwork by what artists? That sounds pretty pricey to me.
