There are several Grateful Dead posters that are over the $1000 mark - especially if they're from the 60's.
Additionally, anything from the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco will fetch a nice price. Here's one for $1700. |

I knew you'd ask that, and I really don't know.
I found that one at artrock.com, and they don't have the designer listed. In fact, they don't have a lot of the 60's artists listed. I'm not sure why. By the way, if anyone is in the SF area, you should definitely pay a visit to ArtRock. You can browse through their huge collections, and they regularly hold exhibits in their gallery. (I have no affiliation. I just think the place is cool. I was on vacation in SF a few years ago and spent a good chunk of time there one day.) |
