The Nazdar pigments are definitely Crestlight. When I started printing I inherited a 5 gallon drum of aluminum powder. I thought that drum would never end. Now I'm using Crestlight.
There is a place here called Guerra Paint and pigment. They are like pigment historians or something. They collect the last bits of pigments from manufacturers going out of business and stuff. Great place. Guerra Paint and Pigment| Suppliers of Artists Pigments, Binders and Materials | Introduction They have a dispersion silver that is the most bright silver that I've seen. |

I use Nazdar powder and Nazdar Base Clear plus Speedball base, usually in a 25% solution, and I get metallics opaque enough to overprint black.
Speedball metallic is garbage.
