dunno. allways sad to see when things get to an "us against them" fever pitch on this site no matter who is the "us" and "them", artist, band or venue/promoter . at it's best the symbiotic relationship between the three entities has worked out well to the satisfaction and benefit of all. when the situation is taken advantage of the balance is broken and someone ends up with the sticky end of the toilet paper.
i'm not slamming Moss. i've never met the man but allways have liked him and his input in a GP internetty-love kinda way. obviously he has strong feelings on the subject ( and a specific individual ) . hopefully that can be resolved and rainbows will return the bay area.
my main concern when this topic comes up is a lot of legal assumptions are made by a lot of people, non of which are lawyers. i'd suggest anyone ( artist, band or venue/promoter ) buy a couple hours of time from a lawyer that specializes in copyrights and has an intimate knowledge of the music industry and poster/promotional art. one comes to mind........
