We actually met, I came by your booth to tell you how awesome it was to meet another female in the business. The point is that everyone is taking themselves way too seriously and, well, you don't get my sense of humor. I'm not insulting you any more than you're insulting me.

if you knew me in the slightest, you'd know that i very rarely take myself seriously. but, when i do, it's for a good reason and solid. some people DO take this topic seriously...i half do, i half don't. however i've been a part of lot of conversations via email and PM with a shit ton of artists here lately about this subject, and i know that it's a big one.

you don't want to take it seriously? go ahead with your bad self, it's no skin off my nose at all. not one bit. what i don't get is why anyone cares if someone else wants to talk shop, with any gravity at all. why is that a problem? it really isn't. it's talk. and thank god there is a dumbass community that supports it here. i value that beyond words. that goes to you AND everyone else in this thread who confuse discussion with whining.

and, as i recall, we didn't meet. you talked to my husband, and i was bummed that we didn't actually get to meet. there are WAY too few women who stick around in this scene for sure. hence, it double pisses me off to lose them for one reason or another, or to not be able to find common ground. i'm sure we will get to in july at that FS. too bad for frank, he will miss all of the cat fighting hot sexy nipple-slippin' fun.

And it's great there's a forum to discuss all of politics of business and philosophy. I was just trying to make people laugh. I didn't mean to piss you off.
