i find especially hard , because our own band is pretty active we were are constantly meeting , playing with and being hosted by other bands . there is a HUGE bleed of our band life , social life and poster making that often feels unhealthy and like a recipe fort burnout.

the best way to get a hate for something you love is to turn it into a job.

i used to love music and screen printing, after 18 years of working for both industries i am totally burnt on both.

i still love both, but not nearly like i used to.

So true. I loved cooking, spent the better part of 12 years doing it professionally, eventually hated it... left the industry, now I love it again.

In some cases, dealing with a venue or promoter in your home town isn't even possible!

Here, there used to be three independent promoters. Two of them were willing to pay my hard costs, one wasn't. The one that wasn't bought out the other two, so now there are no promoters willing to pay for my time.
