So true. I loved cooking, spent the better part of 12 years doing it professionally, eventually hated it... left the industry, now I love it again.

In some cases, dealing with a venue or promoter in your home town isn't even possible!
Here, there used to be three independent promoters. Two of them were willing to pay my hard costs, one wasn't. The one that wasn't bought out the other two, so now there are no promoters willing to pay for my time.
