the montreal show was insane , they did 2 encores and played every single song i wanted to hear. yow even did a doz or so pushups and duane denison kicked some anoying would-be stage diver in the chest.
i'd seen them 8 times before and while the energy level wasn't what it was back in the 90's , they still pulled off an amazing set that was super inspiring. one of the better shows i've seen in a while. no poster though bummmmmmmmer

oh and my friends who are this really young local band that are just starting out opened up and they totally bro-ed down with them. it's cool that such a legendary band is so chill and willing to hang out and shot the shit with a buncha 22 year olds.
often bigger bands give local support the cold shoulder but jl were giving my buddies beers and telling 'em tour stories all night. it really elevated my already high opinion of them. they seem like really cool guys.
