I use Sharpies all the time in my work. I have an entire case of them in every color.
However, the clickable ones dry out pretty fast and those new fine point ones are the same way.
I recently was ask to draw a tattoo on someone for a film. They wanted it to look handdrawn. I picked up the new fine point ones thinking these will do a great job and they didn't work very well at all. The first one dried out in a matter of minutes and wouldn't even write on paper.
I ended up using dry erase markers.
That was the only time that Sharpie has failed me, otherwise, they are the only marker I grab at the store.
was making sure that brian morris was represented in this thread.
used to draw exclusively with sharpies, but now use the pentel pocket brush.
but i do use the hell out of the sharpie paint pens.
me and KNNR got free Sharpies at Bonnaroo. we used them to shank hippies
