You may be correct to start a new thread, but

I put it out there for a reason.

I have been talking with many different artists

in series or not. This is what they are saying.

I just was the one to put it out there.

I Still stand behind what I said eariler.

And if that's concidered "starting shit" then so be it.

All I am doing is addressing things the way I see it.

If this one is so "way Different" then please tell me.

It may change my mind on the series thing,

All I am saying is I think This series things are not

good for the artists. If you would like to know why I feel like that,

I just think it's a raw deal for the artist.

I've done a few of these and I never get what I put into it. Most times I do it just because I like the band or just get the urge to do a poster.

I'll post this under a pseudonym so that it doesn't come off as bragging, but I've been a part of a few poster series lately, and its been my experience that the band has at the very least paid for my posters, certainly paid for their own posters, and in a few cases paid me a very generous design fee as well.

Again, I don't want to come off like I'm hott shitt, because I am not, but I usually end up making at least 500$ on a poster, if not considerably more, either through selling them or being paid by the band. I probably wouldn't be part of a poster series that actually cost me money to be a part of.

I don't know the details about all current poster series, but I would assume most new series take care of their artists. Maybe this isn't the forum to post any of this but I just wanted to add my 2cents, in response to Ron's posts about poster series being bad business. Maybe I'm way off on this and in that case I'll shut up.
