I think it would be a little better to say "The Official API guide says" instead of "This is how it's done, take my word for it."

in the last 20 years I have billed out a few million clamz worth of unsigned commercial gigs.

granted, they paid extremely well...but...sometimes money is sweeter than ego. maybe all the time.

I always negotiate a kill fee. so if i'm not happy with one of their requests or if they aren't happy and want out they know they are obligated to pay something.

then again, i dont make gigposters really.
