Default help newbie

I ve got a flt bed print able with suction and swing side arm with 4 bolts to hold the screen in place.i use photo stencil work, but finding the rgigtration a bit tricky, any hints.
questions:

1 are most of the prints on the site screen printed?

2 ime using waterbased ink on water colour paper is this
ok?
how about using a tricromatic ink to get the impresion of extra colours?

3 ime having trouble coming up with idias,i want to do a limited edition run say 20 frame 1 and have the rest in tubes for sale, a gallery has said they would give me an expo if i get enough stuff together.

4 what to you think i shoud do?

p.s.It seems most of the posters are for gigs..how do i go about doing posters for concents for fun and profit?

Answers:

To figure out registration and other things, buy Screenprinting The Basics available here: http://www.gigposters.com/classified...eid=5517&pre=1

1 Yes.

2 Yes.

3 Part one, find other artists you admire and look at their subject matter, think about how that would work in your own style. Create a "Morgue" or pictures, graphics, bits of type, that interest you for use in future ideas. Go outside and see what inspires you. Take a sketchbook with you.

3 Part two, low number editions are fine. Buy, bigger tubes than you think you will need (I recently learned this.)

3 Part three, you are lucky. Exploit that contact when and only when you have enough work to show.

4 Both, and experiment with other media and then scan it into Photoshop, too.

p.s. Fun, yes. Profit, probably not.
