I wonder what plumbing product will resurrect the classic bathroom fixture thread?

Jesus Christ. I don't know what's more surprising- the fact that this thread is 10 years old, or that there's the same 5 people on this thread a decade ago that are on every other thread on this site.
Yes. That is me wearing a Borat thong in my avatar.

hilarious. Also funny because I actually went out and found myself an old analog photocopier a few years ago. it was free off craigslist, and heavy as a mofo. It does exactly what i wanted it to do, which is be blorry and soft and dark and weird. unfortunately, it is a one-use device (one use which i have used like, twice in 5 years) and it takes up too much room, so i'm probably going to junk it. END OF AN ERA.... like, AGAIN.
2002 REPRAZENT
I used to make all of my keyline films with old school photocopiers, but they seem to have all been replaced with the digital, full color ones. I started using the OCE printer at Kinko's to make films (I set it to manual feed and print onto Dura-lar).
I've found I can still use the newer copiers for formatting and resizing by setting them to "black and white" and "text". It still gets that high contrast, clean reproduction without picking up paper texture or any of that nonsense. But I don't think you'll never get that idiosyncratic unpredictability of a janky old analog machine.
