Anyone know how to contact alan forbes? I am looking to buy some of his stuff wholesale for sale in my store, and I can't find out how to get a hold of him. I'd really appreciate any info. Thanks.

Forbes is a hack riding on the coat tails of the "low-brow" culture schlock thing. And he can't even really draw that well.

Buy some Shag stuff instead...he puts forbes to shame.

Rowdy, so far I've seen you call most poster artists hacks... you got any work we can critique of your own?

Are we starting this again?

Alan Forbes is not even close to being a hack. I love his stuff.

I'm not a big fan of Shag, but I would never call him a hack.

I thought we had all learned a lesson about that around here... Oh well, guess not.

I have to kinda agree with RowdyVaneigem. I wouldn't say Forbes is bad, just not earth-shattering. His drawing skills could be better (at least compared to some of the other "low-brow" artists out there).

Rowdy,
I have to beg your pardon, but you need to take your head outta your ass, and smell the coffee. Alan has consistantly produced some of the most impressive work for a "coat tail rider" as you put it. I don't know how you came to that conclusion head injury? And you know, If shag is the comparrison, think again, there is none. Shag's style is one and alan's is another. The best thing to compare is the OVERCHARGING that shag does and the "low brow" pricing of Alan. Think about it and get back to me.

what is it with all these critics? Rowdy...how may posters have you done?

One thing I hate about these forums is the fact that people want to slag another artists work.

So Rowdy...show me a poster you've done. I'd love to see your work so I can judge your ability to critique someone who makes a living form doing art.

I'm sorry people but this crap needas to come to abrupt end.

Either give constuctive a constructive crtique or leave it alone.

Calling someone a hack demands a point of reference...so what makes him a hack?
