I don't know whether to be relieved or pissed because for some reason the printer who was supposed to be doing my poster isn't returning any of my e-mails answering any of my questions or supplying me tracking numbers...I take that as he DIDN'T do them, although Joe says a shipment of posters from me (via the printer) came to his MI address....

Urgh! I printed mine on Monday. Now for sale in my store for 10 bones. Boogers.
I guess we'll put ours up in the classified as soon as I get some decent pix - I reccoemnd that people try to buy the whole set - "The Tour That Almost Was" DC2012 Edition!
So get printing, you slackers!
Thanks Dan.
I originally clicked on this thread cuz I saw you had posted in it and wanted to see what you did.
I think I'm really just disappointed at not seeing the rest of the posters people signed up to do. By the looks of pages 1-3 this was shaping up to be an awesome set of posters.

If I am missing something, can someone point out why the value of my flat stock is now diminished. I already had enough interested buyers on this poster to at least break even on my material costs - I doubt they will not purchase the poster because the event was cancelled. No doubt, this is a pretty bad situation for Joe and the band but the concert isn't my point of sale - it's the band's. I now have 20% more stock. I've only ever had a few buyers contact me because they missed getting a poster at the show. Most people who buy my posters do so because they like the band and the art. They purchase it outside of the context of it being an artifact of a show but knowing that its official merch. I'm personally disappointed that the poster will no longer be associated with an actual performance but I don't know that I take a financial hit because of it.
