    The treatment of the pink is distressed/fake screen print, and the black is a clean halftone. I have nothing against mixing the two treatments, but to have them next to each other doesn't float my proverbial boat as it were.

    hey guys,
    i want to thank everyone for the input. i got way more responses than i expected. this was super helpful, i definitely took some of your tips (and i ignored some...) i started hand screening these a few days ago. i will post some pictures tonight of the process and the final product.
