Default "From Here to There and Back Again - 100 Years of Rock Art Influences" - 1890s-1990s

I am giving away for $1 a preview copy of the forthcoming trade paperback book:
"From Here to There and Back Again - 100 Years of Rock Art Influences" from 1890s to 1990s.

It's a 240 page, full color book, featuring an amazing collection of record cover and concert poster art.

First section is the history of art that influenced today's poster arts, from 1890s to 1950s, featuring text and images tracing the evolution of illustrative art and how it evolved into today's concert poster art. Details how photography has dogged illustrative art and influenced the many up and downs in the illustrative art field.

The remaining section has rare and amazing art, some never published before of record cover and concert posters from the 1960s to 1990s.

There are some beautiful concert posters shown that were never published as well, from different time periods, very rare to see, some by the 1960s artists.
There is so much great artwork, it is great as textbook showing the evolution of poster and illustrative mass media art from 1890s to the 1990s.

Over 350 artists from around the world.

Here is the link to purchase your copy for $1:

And, yes, Dark Horse still hasn't published the other art books.
I've been talking to other publishers. Someday they will come out. I hope no one is taking this personal against me.
I did all the work and then they gave a bunch of people from the book their own book and never went back to mine.
No return of emails, no return of phone calls. Last I heard from them they were editing the book, then I went into the hospital for a long while, with the possibility of dying, and then I never heard from DH again.
Guess they assumed I was going to die and then they raided the Fistful of Rock books?
Who knows? Its not ending there that's for sure. I'm not doing nothing about it. That's all I am at liberty to say.

THANKS to everyone that has been very supportive.
I'm doing a second Electric Frankenstein art book with a different publisher, collecting the second decades worth of EF stuff.
So, after the end of the year I'll be done adding to the book from all the new art that has been done for our shows and record covers.

thanks again, I appreciate how supportive and great most of you have been to me!

    Sal
