    Question Plagiarism or homage?

before posting here my second poster I would like to have your opinions: this poster was done for an italian band called "no fun", going to have a gig at a place named "Clockwork" here in Rome: by a mere coincidence the name of my studio is Clockwork Pictures so the band and I decided to play on this.. but it is right to publish it here?

Not entirely clear on what you're asking.
Yes. That is me wearing a Borat thong in my avatar.

I'll try to make myself clear: I understand that from the law & conscience point of view we could start a debate but my question is simpler: I'm new to gigposters and I would like to know if such a print would be appropriate to be posted here =)

if your question is, whether this is a legit gig poster or not, it sure is, so you can post it here.
if your question is, whether david pelham, the original designer of the clockwork orange head, would see it as a hommage or as plagiarism, I'd tend to the latter.

The head is pretty straight off the paperback cover - if it was re-imagined or re contextualized in some way other than being over pink instead of orange...

Maybe combine liza minella's silhouette from Cabaret with the sprocket?

gigposters, the site: An archive of gig posters. If it's a poster for a legitimate live event, submit it. Good bad or ugly, all are welcome.

gigposters, the forum: Post it here and it may or may not be completely torn apart and/or celebrated for technical, conceptual, artistic, and/or vindictive personal reasons.
