I'm sure a lot of you have heard or noticed that Wayne coyne of the flaming lips is back to designing and pulling his own gig posters.... It's nice to see him back at it again and to be pulling it off in the typical style he has come to be known for in regards to his old doodles and early day gig posters.

I think the fact that he's been seen making art with Damien hirst has perhaps spaked something with in.... None the less it's nice to see something fresh..... Now if he could just pump out something as cool as the NYE gig poster in Chicago with hum,that would be stellar.....

"shouldn't quit his day job" was a joke, since his "day job" is as a rock star, see? and usually people say "don't quit your day job" about people who want to be rock stars. but he already is. it would be a funnier joke if wayne occasionally dabbled in accounting or something, instead of posters.
