    Default Whatcha Think?

I am a web designer (www.roughdraftdesigns.com). I thought that making my own t-shirts would be cool... so I bought some equipment and started printing shirts (www.printroost.com). Then I ran into gp and saw how sweet poster making could be!

Still new to the world of printing - I'm making posters on a carousel press (should switch to a table?) using plastisol ink (should switch I to wb?). I'm fairly happy with the results - but, like every other new guy on here... I want to know what YOU think.

What? How the heck are you curing plastisol inks on paper? If you switch to water based or acrylic inks you will automatically be switching to a printing table setup unless you plan on purchasing an auto press setup. Either way you won't be using that carousel shiz anymore...

Tables will let you work larger, which is nice.

Looks like a good start, but you should continue to develop your design chops and raise the bar a bit.

I do one color... And run everything through the conveyor dryer. I do the whole run, then get everything ready for the next color. I've really been trying to limit myself on color count!

the problem with plastisol is that you can still rub it off the paper, even when "cured".

i still print most of my stuff on a carousel garment printer. the only thing that suffers is the size of my prints.
