Default Digital file vs. photo of screenprint

    Hello fellow earth-dwellers...

I took a look and couldn't find this in the forum (I'm sure my search skills suck):

Is it a problem to upload the digital file here on gigposters, vs. taking a snapshot of the poster after it's screenprinted.

I've done the former, but now I'm wondering... Thanks in advance for the heads up and the sarcasm.

matter of preference - i like to take a photo of the actual printed poster because this is an archive of actual posters, and my printed shit always looks different than the digital design...and it's a real artifact at that point, not a concept of things that could be.

I create a digital version that I color correct based off the actual printed piece because it's easier to get a good clean representation of the poster that way.

I'd rather see a photo of an actual print. I don't care for the digital versions at all.

Sometimes, not always, but sometimes, there's an element of misrepresentation in using a digital file.
A can't tell you how many times I've seen a poster image on here, from a digital file, and liked it... then I see the real thing at Flatstock and am disappointed by a poorly-executed print that doesn't live up to the promise of the posted image.

No rule but... show me the print.
It's not hard to take a good photo of a print. I usually shoot them outside, in indirect sunlight or overcast.
