Question about selling posters...

Hi,
I just came into a pile of concert posters and was asked to sell them. A lot of them are signed by the artist. Some are limited editions. Some are signed by the band members. I have no idea how to price them. Any suggestions? How much more valuable are they worth if signed? I have some unsigned which match some of the signed ones...
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

It can vary a lot just like anything else. You can try to track down websites for the artists and look around to see what the original selling price was. A lot of newer work here seems to eternally float around $20, but band signatures are another variable.

If you really don't feel like trying to do the research, throw those suckers up on eBay in an open auction. Or go to that espressobeans website and chit-chat with the collectors. Good luck!

Thanks! I have been searching online for hours but haven't found the posters I have... not many anyway. Those that i have found don't have pricing, just seem to be displaying. I will try the espressobeans site you suggested. Thanks so much!

have you looked throuh the archives here? do a search for the band then find the poster that matches. from that you should be able to find the artist and check with the artist's website to see if they are sold out. if they're sold out of the print the value may have bumped up even more. knowing who the artist was is pretty important.

No I haven't checked the archives. Thanks for the suggestion! I have looked on the artist websites but haven't found the ones I have. I am trying to get out of town so I will get on the classifieds soon, but until then, here is a link to my web album with pix of the ones I do have.
