hello. we're working on a collaborative print here at the bird machine.

aaron horkey came into town a couple days ago, and turned around immediately and went to see pissed jeans at the empty bottle. yesterday, we went to visit diana at the field museum, where aaron did some research drawing from specimens in the bird division, while i sat with some of the large mammals, working on a gnu for a different upcoming print. we visited the mammoths & mastodons exhibit, ate food, and saw dosh play last night at (again) the empty bottle.

today, after a trip to visit white wings press, and eat some veggie burritos at irazu, we got to work.

here's a bit of some of the key plate films as they're being composited.



and now that we know generally where the figures are, aaron can draw some background.
