Default How to hang work on a hard wall

I'm putting together a poster show in an old building with hard plaster walls. I don't think I'll be able to sink pins or pushpins into the walls by hand, and the quantity of work is such that I anticipate a lot of rearranging of work on the walls when it comes time to hang the show. So I'd rather not use nails or screws if I can avoid it.

Anyone have experience with adhesives or some way to put work on a wall that doesn't mark the wall or leave sticky shit on the back of posters?

    thanks!
    Anthony

Stretch aircraft wire across and then clip the posters to it.

    Thanks guys.

Yeah, the wire is a possibility. The dimensions of the work will vary a lot, but could still do it.

Tuffy, will that stuff hold tight for a few weeks?

Did you book a gig without figuring how to hang your artwork?

    Way to go..

drill, sink anchor, install hardware, install work. this would be good if you went for the wire method.

    Thanks 8ball.

I've put together shows in the past, was able to put pins in the walls. This is a unique, historical building with hard walls. I have options of course but wanted to see if others had methods that worked best for them.

Thanks weathermaker. Saw your work at The Arm, loved it.

I use them to hang work in the gallery I work at. They hang heavy stock , and do not mark the work or walls. Also so easy to remove after. It comes sort of like Letraset and is applied in the similar fashion.
After show is easy to remove from posters and wall, as it rolls off. I have hung 'heavy' stocks on our gallery wall, and they have kept up on the wall for over 6weeks, plus our lower gallery is baltic.
