    Default digital printing

I've searched and looked through the forums first... so I apologize in advance if there is a thread already answering this question.

I am looking at doing a small run (50) of digital printed posters. I would prefer that they be larger than 11X17, but I can settle on that size. I would also like it to be printed on thick paper. Price- preferably under $100. Is there a place online anyone can suggest? I found this:
    https://www.cdpostershop.com/Product...e=11X17-POSTER

I don't want to use shortrunposters.com because they print on the back of the poster.

some background: Boise has an awful attendance rate to shows unless it is a shitty cover band or some butt rock band. Where a band might sell out in any other city or show, it gets only a 50% attendance in Boise. This is why I am resorting to digital printing. The reason I don't do offset is because the run is so small. The reason I don't go to Kinko's is because they are over-priced and their inks and printers are super saturated and the colors are off. I don't think the quality printers around here will do a run of 50.

    thanks guys!

I would suggest you find a small printshop in boise - a mom & pop kinda place, with a large format canon printer & plead your case & offer them a your budget & I'll bet you can get it done.

Boise has got to have a couple of small, shop that could do ya for a buck or less a print.

    Dayton did and does.

Yeah, I use to work at a print shop, and 12x18 is a standard paper size. Anything over that though, and you gotta use the Oce printer which will jack the price up considerably. I agree with Denis... look for a small shop in the area and just compare prices. You can usually get a test print or two for free to get your colors matched, and it would be better than getting something online and all 50 of them having their colors off.

A lot of the newer canons that can handle 12x18 can also handle 13x19. My teachers studio and my school both have them. That's not full bleed though, but might help stand out over 11x17
