well you can't expect a good crit from a tiny thumbnail, and I don't know how large the file is in the link but it hung up my computer...

post a decent sized jpeg...

- and remove that huge link... that's bullshit

submit it with the rest of the archive here and wait for comments. lots of comments= incredibly amazing, good fodder for tasteless jokes or painfully bad. no comments= appropriate poster.

you aren't looking for someone to screenprint it are you? If you are just digitally outputting it just about any commercial print show will do it for you...

as far as crit... it's kinda all over the place, a bunch of different styles kinda slapped on a page... the type is very weak... lineweights are all different, 3 different reds, you have stipling with heavy black line, a banner with no stipling and a heavy red, wings in a totally different style than either of those, a border out of nowhere that does not match anything and the typeface is kinda out of left field....

there are a million of people on this site who take images they have found, slap them on a page and call it a poster ...it's more than just taking 6 different images and putting them on a page together... look at people like Tooth, Connor and Aesthetic Apparatus to name a few... they take images and make their own statements with them by screwing around with them/cutting them up, making them work together... rather than just 6 things dropped on a page with text on top

my two cents...

awesome image, the fonts suck ass. if you can draw that image you can work on your hand lettering.

Thanks for the comments so far.

It's just an experimentation with putting together several images. Appreciate the honest comments dspring.

I actually like the font, the downward strokes worked for me but yea I drew everything else, so I could have invested some time in handlettering.

Keep the comments coming.

Making digital images look rough like they've actually been made by hand is getting old and played out. Otherwise nice. The weight of the type of the headliner needs to be beefed up or the color changed. It the last thing I looked at.
