Speedball just wants you to buy a new screen for every print you do. Why else would they use multifiliment mesh?

You can really go crazy on a screen if you actually buy a professional screen. Or, if you want to go the opposite direction, just make your own screens instead of buying the speedball ones. Use stretcher bars for art canvas and polychiffon fabric. You won't get fantastic results (or be able to reclaim them), but it's a lot cheaper than using the speedball ones until you buy a pro screen?

we started with 2 aluminium screens at 230mesh count, some speedball emulsion, and speedball acrylic inks. the problems we ran into. Not letting emulsion dry long enough caused the stencil to wash out in parts. if you use one hinge clamp your screen will move alot and cause registration to be more guess work for each pass of the squeegee. we still were able to produce 23 of these

15 mostly straight ones as ordered by the band and 8 crooked ones for us to keep as "artist proofs".

we started about a month and a half ago and just keep finding out how to do things wrong and then correct them, taking notes along the way.
