Great facility. Every school print lab should have an automatic and a textile setup.

Default Open Classes for Spring Semester 2011!

As of today, I have a few spots open in two classes.

    Grcom 115, WED. 1-4:10
This is a basic beginning textile printing class, you work with plastisol, water based ink, single color and multi-color printing. We also cover heat applications like foils. A good chance to get your hands dirty while learning the basics of tee shirt printing and textile inks.

    Grcom 137, TUES. 6-10:30 PM
This is a class that covers the ins and outs of fine art and poster screen printing. I am a gig poster artist my self and I designed this class for artists who want to produce their own print editions. You will work with water based inks, choose your own images, use basic equipment and progress with each lesion.
All my classes are hands on and most of the class period is spent working in the lab printing.
We are not is the art dept. no lab fees or crits!

Spring semester runs from FEB 22 to June 19th

We are in the Engineering and Technology Division, Graphic Communications Dept. (See the video link on this thread)

    To enroll,
    go to Pasadena City College

I am a poster artist myself and have pages up here, a lot of my current students are street artists, but I would like more aspiring gig poster artists in my class. No lab fee, No critiques! This is not an art class (thank god!), I give an assignment utilizing one printing technique and the creative part is all up to you. Screens, inks, (water based) and emulsion is all there, we even have computers in the lab. I taught Micheal Micheal Motorcycle the basics of screen printing. Other poster artists who have passed through our lab include: Kevin Tong, Brian Ewing, The Harpoon, and Dave Lemon, check it out: Pasadena City College
