aha - then i prefer #2 with the band logos more tightly knitted together. make things as clean as you can since there is sooooooo much info you have to out on this thing.

I would have assumed those were sponsors, not bands.
Lose all the logos of the bands they cover.
Just list them small(er).

Yep - lose the logos for the bands and just type the names. Or "I agree with Steve."
You need a wolf somewhere in there howling at the moon.
i put together a quick one to illustrate some points
couple thoughts:
*graphic/image:
the image is there for the sole purpose to catch the attention of the fan and the potential fan. whatever can do that works. i don't think lemmy was a bad call but........ pretty specific to attracting only motorhead fans. i think something more universal/generic "70s rock" would work better in this case.
*fonts:
stick to 1-2 for now . less is more.
*prioritize your info:
when all the info is put on a poster at roughly the same size it becomes a clusterfuck that is hard to read and nothing stands out as having any importance.
first pick out what is the most important piece of information you want to convey. in 99% of gigposters this is going to be the headlining band but....... in this case i think "1970s rock n roll" is the big selling point that we want to get across. make this text as large as possible in the structure of the design.
second pick out your next most important info. again, the majority of the time in gigposters this is going to be the date and venue or the openers. but........ in this case i think it would be the list of bands being covered. this should be significantly smaller than the main type.
all else....... small.
*lastly:
i left out $10. is that really cheap for a show in your country ? if it is then put it on the poster. if it's not....... then it's not a selling point so leave it off.

I'm actually with Richie. Keep going. Push your aesthetic. More fonts. More colors. Busy = best.
I'm sick of you guys giving away the farm. Let's let the bad be bad.
