This shit is so simple it's retarded. You guys are either making it too difficult of making it very difficult to separate for printing.

Select color range. Fuzziness 200
Cut
paste
select black text that will now be on a new layer
Fill with desired color

Done. Takes all of 2 seconds.

You will now have something you can easily change the color of at will. and something you can easily move around your layout on it's own layer.

or whatever way Richie recommends.
