I fully agree on the font thing aswell.

bottom one is the better of the two, but it still feels a bit HEY WHATS UP CARTOON OWL for a dude like andrew bird.

Yeah I have tried numerous times to adopt a more realistic style. I just can't ever seem to make it work for me. Thanks for the critique though...
