I use a couple of layers of masking tape. Don't know why, just always have.

Hmm.. Dymo, eh? I wouldn't mind giving that a try. Right now I'm using small tabs cut from a fake credit card I got in the mail, an idea I read somewhere on this site. I love it, but I'm not sure I'm in love with it. I might be due for a change.

A word of caution....your tabs should be hard enough they don't go soft or wear over the run, but when using hard materials like plastic or metal, they have to be below or equal to the level of your stock. If they stick up proud of the stock and you are printing over them without some tape or something under the screen or on top of the tab at the contact point, you will eventually wear a hole in your emulsion, and then your mesh, if you are doing long runs or using an automatic.

Just sayin'....
