After looking at the Tom Waits poster I posted. I thought it wasn't really capturing him and looked more like and art print. When I got to my shop I started messing around with pencil and charcoal and I came up with this

Neato!

After not doing anything forever, I finally cobbled something together; It's pretty straightforward but I think there's room to trick it out...

There's one or two glitches in there from a crop but as a rough, it's pretty ok.....As I hope to be getting screening gear soon, I'm doing stuff that a stone amateur could do, so I'm trying to break my stuff down: minimalisim is hard....

these don't necessarily follow the rules for this poster class, but i might as well post them here because they're not going to be anywhere else. i was supposed to design posters for a bunch of shows as part of a festival in lawrence, but after agreeing to let me do it, a couple of unfortunate "things" came up that prevented me from printing them and getting them up there in time. it's a good thing that the promoter already had other promo lined up. here's a few of the posters that i made:

bummer.

yeah sure why not as a matter of fact just post some of those cool posters that you did that were never fully realized.
